Never Die
I am many lives.
I never die.
I have been a
stone and the sea.
I am changing,
mutating at
all times. I have
been a child,
an old man,
and a woman.
Sometimes I am
just an ear, a
voice calling from
the forest. I
have been sand, an
atom, words scrawled
on a concrete
wall. I have been
the madman and
the cure. I have
never been dead.

Bio:
Luis lives in West Covina, CA. His first chapbook, Without
Peace, was published by Kendra Steiner Editions in July 2007.
A second chapbook will be published by Kendra Steiner
Editions in December 2007. Luis works in the mental health
field in Los Angeles, CA. His work-related poetry has appeared
in Beat the Dust, Mad Swirl, St. Vitus Press Online, and
Zygote In My Coffee.
